Free* Pre Listing Inspections

If you are SELLING your home a pre listing inspection is a wise choice.

From a purchasers point of view there are only 2 reasons why a home for sale is not pre inspected. Either the seller is hiding something, or they are not willing to cover the cost of inspection. Show purchasers that you are open and honest and provide them with the option to purchase an inspection report!

True Inspection has developed a unique program where the seller has the potential to get a FREE home inspection and even better you might actually make money with this program!

Here is how it works. The seller will pay the normal inspection fee. When a potential purchaser would like to see the inspection report, you simply direct them to send a payment of $100 to me via e transfer. Instruct them to put one email address in the note section and the report will be emailed to them.

Rather than paying full price for the inspection, the purchaser is paying a fraction of the cost and there is no wait time as the inspection has already been completed.

As the seller, you will be refunded the $100 report fee until you have received your entire inspection cost back. After you have recovered your cost you will receive $50 per inspection report sold back!

* Let’s go over a few examples.

Example #1

Home inspection fee paid by you was $400 for example. There are 3 potential purchasers who purchased the report from True Inspection. You are successful in selling the home and receive a partial refund of $300 back.

Example #2

Home inspection fee paid by you was $400 for example. There are 20 potential purchasers who purchased the report from True Inspection. You receive a full refund of $400 back + you receive an additional $800!

Example #3

Home inspection fee paid by you was $400 for example. There are no potential purchasers who purchased the report from True Inspection. In this case you would not receive any refund and the inspection would not be free.

Regardless of the amount you get back,  you have encouraged more interest in your home, and potentially generated more offers because purchasers feel more confident in a home that has been inspected. There are less inspectors going through your home, and you might actually make money in this sellers market!

The fine print:

Normally a home inspection report is the property of the person who pays for it. In this case the report remains the property of True Inspection which allows us to sell the report to multiple people for their single use only. As the seller you still have unlimited use of the report and can provide the report to anyone you wish, however you would not receive any refund or profits from True Inspection.

Each person who purchases the inspection report will sign a contract online and become a client of True Inspection. This contract is important because it means that you are are protected under the terms of the home inspection agreement just the same as if you were the person who hired me in the first place. On the other hand, if you have been given the report without purchasing it, then True Inspection has no liability to you and can not discuss the report with you.
